Sirisena claims large numbers are flocking to SLFP to contest PC polls
Former President Maithripala Sirisena said, on Sunday, that a large number of individuals had joined the SLFP with a view to contesting the upcoming Provincial Council election.
Addressing a press conference at the SLFP HQ on Sunday evening, Sirisena said that the party would grow stronger in the coming months.
The former President added that the SLFP was not interested in making billionaires and that their goal was to eradicate poverty.
