Kurundi Viharaya belies Tamil homeland theory, says Udaya

Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) leader Udaya Gammanpila said that Kurundi viharaya in former LTTE bastion Mullaitivu that those who still promoted separatism were quite concerned about the historical temple as it disputed Tamil homeland theory.

Former Power and Energy Minister Gammanpila said that during the visit they had met Tamil people living in the area and discussed issues. The MP said that the issues could be resolved if those who represent the region refrained from causing further turmoil.Gammanpila vowed to protect the viharaya and surrounding area.
