Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and North-central provinces and in Kurunegala and Vavuniya districts during the early hours of the morning.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in Hambantota and Matale districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur in the other areas of the island after 1.00 p.m. Fairly heavy Showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
