Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and North-central provinces and in Jaffna and Kurunegala districts during the early hours of the morning

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, Uva, Eastern and Northcentral provinces after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers about 50 mm are likely at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa district.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
