President settles dispute over CEB GM appointment

Additional General Manager (Corporate Strategy), Eng. (Dr.) D.C.R. Abeysekera of the Corporate Strategy Division has been appointed the new Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) General Manager.
The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers Union (CEBEU) Secretary Dhammika Wimalaratne thanked President Gotabaya Rajapaksa for intervening to end what he called illegal appointment of Acting General Manager Dr. Sustantha Perera and appointing Dr. Abeysekera General Manager.
