Navaliya sponsors Ru Kirula pageant for fifth consecutive year

The Rupavhini Ru kirula 2022 pageant, was held for the fifth consecutive year, with the Navaliya weekly as the print media partner, at the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation premises, Colombo, recently

Ayesha Nethimini, from the Colombo District, won the Lever AYUSH crown, while Upuni Nimesha, from the Kurunegala District, and Devindi Nayanamini, from the Anuradhapura District, won the first and second runners up places, respectively.

The winners were awarded cash prizes, while Sevwandi Gunaratne, from the Kandy District, was crowned Navaliya Most Popular Princess of the contest, from the results of a poll, conducted by the Navaliya paper for six weeks. Achala Karunaratne and Chaminda Gunaratne compered the show which was directed by Pathum Sasanka, SLRC Executive Director.
