Keheliya’s accounts and policies have now been suspended

Colombo High Court, yesterday (04) extended its order issued suspending the fixed deposits and insurance policies amounting to 97 million rupees belonging to former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and five of his close relatives.

The Colombo High Court extended the order considering a request made by the Bribery Commission.

The accounts and policies are now suspended till 04 January 2025.On 05 July 2024, the Colombo High Court suspended the fixed deposits and insurance policies for three months. The three months ended on Friday.
