Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern Provinces. Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in Rathnapura, Galle, Matara and Kalutara districts.
Several spells of showers will occur in Northwestern province. Showers or thundershowers will occur in Central, Uva and Eastern provinces during the evening or night.
Strong winds about (40-45) kmph can be expected at times over the Island.
The sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar and from Pottuvil to Hambantota will be rough at times. The sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Colombo and Galle will be fairly rough at times.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Mainly fair weather will prevail over the sea areas around the island.
Winds will be north-easterly and speed will be (20-30) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to 40 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Negombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
The sea areas off the coasts extending from Negombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota can be fairly rough at times. Other sea areas around the island will be slight.
