Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces and in Nuwara-Eliya district after 1.00 pm. Dry weather will prevail over the other parts of the island.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Uva and Central provinces and in Batticaloa, Ampara and Polonnaruwa districts after 2.00 p.m.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Uva, Central and Eastern provinces and in Polonnaruwa district after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm are likely at some places in the Uva and Eastern provinces. Several spells of showers will occur in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

A few showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
