Omega Regency is set to hold its 25th annual blood donation campaign today (13) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its Wellawatta location. The event, held in collaboration with the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital, aims to collect vital blood supplies for patients battling cancer.

A release said that the campaign honours the legacy of Omega Regency’s founders, C.P. Jayawardena and Kanil Jayawardena, and serves as a significant community initiative. The organisers emphasised the urgent need for donations, noting a poignant message on the event’s poster: “Every hour, a Sri Lankan loses the fight with cancer. Your blood can give them hope!”

The public is encouraged to participate and contribute to this life-saving cause. Those interested in donating can register by scanning the QR code provided on the event’s promotional materials. This marks a quarter-century of dedicated service by Omega Regency in supporting cancer patients and the country’s healthcare system.
