Trinco achieves highest ever daily discharge rate
On April this year, the highest ever daily discharge rate was achieved in the Trincomalee port when an average of over 10,000 MT of coal discharge per day was achieved for a cargo of over 56,000 MT from the MV Jacob Oldendoff, The Sri Lanka Port Authority announced.
SLPA said in a news release that consignee, Siam City Cement (Lanka) Ltd. had written to them expressing appreciation of the of the operational achievement of the port staff saying they had worked round the clock to help bring the Trinco port to the next level.
