Weather forecast issued at 05.30 a.m. on 18 March 2023 by the Department of Meteorology

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over most parts of the island during the afternoon or night.

Winds will be easterly or north-easterly and wind speed will be (20-30) kmph.

The sea areas around the island will be slight to moderate but very rough seas could be expected during thundershowers.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
