Woman nabbed with 4 kg of cocaine at BIA

A Ghanaian woman carrying a South African passport was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport for attempting to smuggle cocaine into the country. She had 4.38 kilos of cocaine concealed in her luggage. The seized cocaine had a street value of approximately Rs.142 million, police said.
The woman was handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
