Vasu returns official residence, vehicles but remains a Minister
Water Supply Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara yesterday (14) vacated his official residence and handed over his official vehicles to the Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Priyath B. Wickrema. Rebel Minister Nanayakkara said that he didn’t want to use the official vehicles and the residence as he had ceased perform ministerial duties in addition to boycotting the Cabinet meetings in protest against the sacking of colleagues, Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila.
