The Election Commission announced on Wednesday (18) that all voters who have not received their polling cards by 14 September for the 2024 Presidential Election can collect them from their local post office.

The 14th of September marked the final day for the Postal Department to distribute polling cards to households.

Voters who have not received their cards can obtain them at their respective post offices on Thursday and Friday (20), by presenting a valid identification document, according to the Election Commission.

Additionally, voters can access their official polling cards online via the Election Commission website: https://eservices.elections.gov.

The Election Commission has said any registered voter whose name appears on the 2024 voter registration list can vote at their designated polling station by furnishing personal identification, as the official polling card is not mandatory for voting.

The 2024 presidential election will take place on Saturday (21), with 17,140,280 voters across the country eligible to elect Sri Lanka’s 10th Executive President.
