Timeless tradition-cake making at Marriott

The Courtyard by Marriott Colombo embraced the festive spirit with a vibrant Christmas cake-mixing event last week. Under the guidance of General Manager Elton Hurtis, the entire Courtyard team, in collaboration with Elite Marriott Bonvoy Members and media personalities, came together to infuse the holiday season with joy and camaraderie said a press release.

The release also said the event began with a delightful gesture as guests received Santa hats and gloves, inviting them to actively participate in the timeless tradition of cake mixing. Leading this enchanting spectacle were culinary maestros Chef Dilan Almeida and Chef Saman Sirimalwatta, who, together with their skilled team, seized the opportunity to showcase their talents and captivate guests with a holiday flair.

Following the heartwarming cake-mixing ceremony, a delectable festive high-tea was served, featuring an array of seasonal delicacies. The ambience was further enriched by the harmonious sounds of seasonal music, creating an atmosphere resonating with the essence of celebration and unity.
