Tharunyayata Jawaya to support presidential candidate with youth-focused national policy

The Tharunyayata Jawaya (Strength to Youth) Organization has announced that it will support the presidential candidate who proposes a national policy aimed at addressing the issues faced by the youth community.

Prasanna Dissanayake, Chairperson of the Tharunyayata Jawaya Organization, stated that a candidate who presents proposals to enhance the future of the youth and has the capability to implement them will receive support in the upcoming presidential election.

He emphasized that establishing a national policy is essential to positively shape the future of the nation’s youth. Historically, politicians have gained power by making various promises and winning the support of the youth. To avoid this and ensure meaningful progress, a national policy focused on the development of the youth is crucial.

The country needs a national policy to effectively guide and support the youth as they face challenges related to education, vocational training, employment, and social issues. Mr. Dissanayake underscored that the organization will endorse a candidate who shows a genuine commitment to addressing these needs. He mentioned that they will evaluate potential candidates over the coming days and endorse one who aligns with the goals of the Tharunyayata Jawaya Organization.
