Sunshine Holdings appoints respected healthcare industry professional to its Board of Directors

Sunshine Holdings (CSE: SUN) announced the appointment of Sudarshan Jain to the Company’s Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors with effect from 03rd February, 2022. With the new appointment, the Board of Sunshine Holdings will be comprised of nine Directors, six of which are non-executive, independent directors.

Sudarshan Jain, former Managing Director of Abbott Healthcare Solutions India, is a well-respected leader counting 40 years of experience in field force management, brand building and overall business operations in the global healthcare arena. He has been associated with over 30 brands placed within the top 300 in the Indian Pharmaceutical industry, across Pharmaceutical, OTC, Hospital, Diagnostic and Nutrition verticals. Over the course of his exceptional professional journey, Sudarshan has made significant contributions towards shaping healthcare policy and improving access to healthcare in India, garnering numerous recognitions, a highlight being the receipt of the Global Chairman’s Award at Abbott as its first Indian Recipient.

He is currently Secretary General of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), Senior Advisor with APAX Partners, Chairman of Indian Institute of Health Management and Research (IIHMR, Jaipur), in addition to serving on the Board of multiple organisations. Sudarshan is an alumni of St. Stephens College India and the Delhi and Indian Institute of Management.
