SLS teams up withYeti for Commonwealth Games

Sri Lanka Squash (SLS) teamed up with leading isotonic sports drinks manufacturer Yeti, in their attempt to reach excellence during the Commonwealth Games, which began in Birmingham, England on Thursday.
The sponsorship will be a huge boost to the team which will take part in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles events and high hopes are on the doubles events as the players are expected to perform well causing upsets.
Senior player Ravindu Laksiri who went on to win the recently concluded Golf and Country Club Open PSA Satellite Tournament held in England is expected to better his performance while Shamil Wakeel, Chanithma Sinaly and Yeheni Kuruppu too are expected to perform at their best after going through a top quality high-performance training programme conducted under the guidance of former Pakistani national coach Rehman Gul supported by local coaches Gihan Suwaris, Naduni Gunawardena and Physical Trainer Ashan Gamlath.
