Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and North-western provinces and in Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts while showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Eastern and Uva provinces, and in Polonnaruwa and Mullaitivu districts during the evening or night.
Winds will be south-westerly and wind speed will be (30-40) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to (50-55) kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar, and from Hambantota to Pottuvil.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Northern, North-central, Uva, Eastern and Central provinces. Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts after 1.00 pm. Fairly heavy showers
above 50 mm are likely at some places.
