Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Northcentral provinces and in Galle, Matara and Kurunegala districts during the early hours of the morning
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya and Puttalam districts after 2.00 pm. Fair weather will prevail over the other parts of the island.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

A few showers will occur in coastal areas of the Western and North-western provinces and Galle district during the morning. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Batticaloa, Ampara and Monaragala districts after 2.00 p.m. Dry weather will prevail over the other areas of the island.
Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times over the Northern, North-central provinces and in Hambantota and Puttalam districts.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
