Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Central and Uva provinces and in Ampara, Batticaloa and Hambantota districts. Showers or thundershowers are likely at a few places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times over the Western slopes of the central hills, the North-central, North-western and Southern provinces and in Trincomalee district.
