Royal, Trinity, St. Anthony’s take first innings honours

Royal, Colombo, St. Anthony’s Katugastota and Trinity took first innings honours in the traditional Under 19 cricket encounters ended in draws over the weekend.In the match played at Reid Avenue, Gishan Balasooriya and Sadisha Rajapaksha shared seven wickets between them for Royal to contain Cambrians for 135 runs.At Campbell Park Vibhawith Ehelepola , Theeraka Ranathunga (4/63) and Pawan Pathiraja shared bowling honours for Trinity to earn first innings honours.St. Anthony’s had Asitha Wanninayake top scoring with 80 runs as they posted 201 for seven wickets declared against St. Benedict’s 102 runs at Katugastota.
