Chairman of the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) Susantha Liyanarachchi said yesterday that his organisation, along with former Director of Administration at Parliament, Lacille de Silva, would ask for a list of the MPs and Ministers who had obtained low-interest loans ranging from five to ten million rupees from two state banks.

Liyanarachchi said they had information that many MPs who were entitled to the privilege have not repaid their loans.

He added that their request would be made under the Right to Information Act, and information to be ascertained about the loans would be made available to the public thereafter.
