Rain has the final say as Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants share points
It was rain in the beginning and rain at the end, and a little bit of cricket in the middle. Only 19.1 overs of play was possible in Lucknow after a 30-minute delayed start as inclement weather returned to have the final say. Both Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings settled with a point each in a match that looked set for another tight finish. Notably, it was only the second instance of a no-result in IPL outside of Bengaluru.
