Prez election: Dullas announces his candidature
SLPP MP Dullus Alahapperuma yesterday (15) declared that he would hand over his nominations to contest the presidency.The announcement was made in the wake of UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe swearing in as the Acting President.Alahapperuma has the backing of a sizable group in the SLPP parliamentary group. SJB leader Sajith Premadasa, too, has declared his candidature.
