President directs Galle Literary Festival to be held on a grand scale
At a preliminary discussion held on Friday (28), President Ranil Wickremesinghe.emphasized the importance of organizing the activities of the Galle Literary Festival (GLF) in a way that they highlight the Sri Lankan identity.
Many programs aimed at promoting the tourism industry through various art forms including new art media (Modern Art), music, fashion shows, book exhibitions, and festivals are to be held in the areas of Galle, Matara, Ahangama, and Hikkaduwa in January 2024.
