Prameela C R appointed as CEO of LIC (Lanka) Ltd
Life Insurance Corporation (Lanka) Ltd has announced the appointment of Prameela Chittazhi Ramanadhan as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective 19th February 2025.
With an extensive career spanning over 27 years at LIC of India, one of the world’s largest life insurers, Prameela C R brings a wealth of experience to her new role. A Law graduate and MBA holder, she is also a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. Her expertise lies in marketing and operations of life insurance products and services across multiple channels.
Renowned for her leadership skills, Prameela C R has a proven track record of fostering high-performing teams and driving business growth. Her appointment is expected to strengthen LIC (Lanka) Ltd’s market position and enhance service offerings in the Sri Lankan insurance sector.
