Parliament to convene from 20th to 23rd June

Parliamentary Business related to the coming Parliamentary week to be held from June 20th to 23rd June were decided at the Committee on Parliamentary Business held recently under the Chairmanship of the Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana.

Accordingly the following are to be taken up

  • Second Reading Parliamentary Budget Office Bill scheduled for the 20th June
  • Second Reading of the Anti-Corruption Bill on June 21st
  • Adjournment debate on the Address to the Nation by the Hon. President scheduled for the 22nd June
