Mayooran, Yuhansa clinch Under 14 singles titles
SSC Open Tennis Championship
Mayooran Kuberane and Yuhansa Peiris clinched the Under 14 boys’ and girls’ singles titles respectively of the SSC Open Tennis championships continued at the SSC tennis courts on Wednesday.
In the girls’ singles final played on Wednesday, Bishop’s College player Yuhansa beat Leyla Knese 6-4, 6-3 to win the title. In the semi-final she beat Hesandi Mallawa 6-1, 6-0.

St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya player Kuberane beat Nevan Kannangara 6-4, 6-0 in the boys’ final. Kuberane reached the final with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Damsath Peiris in the semi-final.
