Luka, Yasitha, Thehan and Dineshkanthan to fight for final spot

Yasitha de Silva will meet Luca Knese, while Dineshkanthan Thangarajah encounters Thehan Wijemanne in the semi-finals of the men’s singles of the Colombo Championships at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts today.
In the two quarter-finals played on Sunday Wijemanne beat Rostam Ali 6-0, 6-1, while Dineshkanthan edged out Apna Perera 6-2, 6-4 to secure the semi-final berths.
The other two quarter-finals between Luka Knese and Guyanga Weerasekera and Yasitha de Silva and Vibuda Wijebandara were played on Saturday, where Knes e and de Silva emerged victorious.
Quarter-final results:
Luka Knese beat Guyanga Weerasekera 6-3, 6-2
Yasitha de Silva beat Vibuda Wijebandara 6-0, 6-2
Thehan Wijemanne beat Rostam Ali 6-0, 6-1
Dineshkanthan Thangarajah beat Apna Perera 6-2, 6-4
