LKI hosts Round Table Discussion on ‘Sri Lanka’s Preparedness to Meet the Emerging Global Economic Challenges’
A dialogue centered on strategic measures to enhance Sri Lanka’s economic resilience amidst a rapidly evolving global landscape was hosted by the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute (LKI) on 12 March 2025, and chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment Arun Hemachandra.
Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Prof. Anil Jayantha Fernando, Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, Member of Parliament Lakmali Hemachandra, Senior Economic Adviser to the President and Chairman, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Duminda Hulangamuwa and Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha, Executive Director, LKI were associated with the Deputy Minister.
The discussion also benefited from the expertise of the Chairpersons of the Export Development Board and the Board of Investment, heads of several Ministries and Institutions, Trade Chambers and leading industry professionals.
