Linal and Vimukthi top batting and bowling charts
Linal Subasinghe of Colombo North Zone 1 has emerged as the leading run scorer in the ongoing SLC Under-19 district tournament. The Wesley College batter has scored 193 runs in three matches so far.
Vimukthi Sandaruwan, meanwhile has claimed ten wickets in the three games featuring for Puttalam. Western Province has conducted the most games so far having finished 12 games.
The inclement weather of the last two weeks has forced several postponements, but all these games are being competed.
There’s stiff competition in the Western Province while North Western Province also has seen some close games. North Central and Northern Provinces compete in the same category and so are Southern– Uva Provinces and Central and Eastern Provinces.
