Lanka Special Steels launches LANKA SSL AGRI-GOLD for Sri Lanka’s agri sector

Lanka Special Steels Ltd. (LANKA SSL), a leading manufacturer of galvanised steel wires in Sri Lanka, has officially launched its latest product brand, LANKA SSL AGRI-GOLD, comprising of a new range of GI wire and barbed wire designed to meet the specific needs of the farming community, ensuring durability, strength, and long-term performance.

To mark the launch, LANKA SSL, conducted an awareness programme for office bearers of the “Govi Jana Sangam” in the Embilipitiya region, with the support of the Embilipitiya Agrarian Development Centre.

The initiative aimed to educate local farmers on the benefits and applications of high-quality GI and barbed wires in agriculture, including their role in enhancing farm security, fencing, and crop protection.

The event also featured a networking session with 60 prominent dealers from Embilipitiya, providing them with firsthand insights into the LANKA SSL AGRI-GOLD product range. This interactive session allowed dealers to better understand the product’s technical superiority and market potential, fostering stronger ties between LANKA SSL and its regional distribution network.
