Kerala cannabis worth over Rs. 41 mn street value recovered at Madagal
A Navy foot patrol over the weekend recovered 126 kg of Kerala cannabis in Madagal, Jaffna.Naval personnel found four sacks at the beach and recovered 55 packages of Kerala cannabis in them. Navy said that the gross street value of the stock of Kerala cannabis is believed to be over Rs. 41 mn. It is also believed that smugglers might have abandoned the stock at the beach seeing troops moving into the area.
