Kerala cannabis found adrift off Kalpitiya

Personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval command on 10 January recovered about 90kg and 45g (wet weight) of Kerala cannabis adrift in the sea area of Kappaladi, Kalpitiya.

Inshore Patrol Craft (IPCs) detected and recovered three polythene sacks drifting in the sea area of Kappaladi. The sacks contained 30 parcels of Kerala cannabis.
