Kandy-Sri Lions feature in Clifford Cup opener

League tournament champions for 2024/25 Kandy Sports Club will be the hot favourite when the Clifford Cup rugby knockout tournament commences today (March 26) with a game between the Nittawela Club and Sri Lions, scheduled to take place in the central hills this evening. The match will commence at 4 pm.
The other quarterfinal matches of the tournament are between Air Force and CH&FC (March 27/Ratmalana), CR&FC vs Police Sports Club (March 28/Longden Place) and Havelocks Sports Club vs Army SC (March 29/Havelock Park).
The tournament is conducted by Sri Lanka Rugby.
