Heralding Christmas season with cheer

Welcoming the much-awaited Christmas season, Sheraton Kosgoda General Manager Mano Gunasekera hosted the traditional Christmas cake mixing ceremony last week with his team at the beautiful garden of the hotel The Christmas cake mixing ceremony is an event that the hotel celebrates annually as a tradition.

This time too Executive Chef and his extraordinary team put up a marvellous show for all invitees and guests to enjoy the occasion.  The ingredients were mixed by guests and associates from colourful cherries to crunchy cashews, to warm brandy and of course the most important ingredient – love.

With even the weather holding well, all those who gathered were able to enjoy the spirit of the event to the brim, in good cheer. . “It is heartwarming to see the atmosphere was infused with joy and camaraderie as everyone joined in blending tradition with the magic of togetherness” said the General Manager delighted with the crowd that had gathered..

A wide variety of hors d’oeuvres, christmas cake and festive sweets were served for the guests to enjoy. Wines, red and white were served to the guests in style The joyful atmosphere set the mood for the on-coming season.
