Heavy showers about 100 mm are likely at some places in the Eastern, Uva and North-central provinces and in Matale and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 1.00 p.m.

Several spells of showers will occur in the North-western province.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces and in Mullaittivu and Polonnaruwa districts after 1.00 p.m.
