Foreign Employment Bureau official arrested
A serving officer of the Foreign Employment Bureau has been arrested for duping a woman. A senior spokesman for the bureau said that the officer had obtained Rs 500,000 from a woman from Middeniya promising her employment in Romania. However, she had complained to the bureau after the suspect failed to send her abroad, the official said.
The suspect was taken into custody by the investigation unit of the bureau after recording a statement.
