Fake ministers
When visiting the site of the double flyover being constructed at the Justice Akbar Mawatha, Highways Minister, Johnston Fernando had said that the work was in progress around the clock as per the instructions by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, to complete the project by June this year.
If everything is done on the instructions of the President and PM, why should we have those ministers? Ministers, high officials and MPs have the habit of trying to please the two bosses unselfishly by mentioning their names every time when something good happens even rarely and taking the blame for the disasters that happens due to direct orders from the boss(es) (e. g. Mahindanada).
