Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Eastern, Central, North-central and Uva provinces. Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in the Central and Uva
provinces and in Batticaloa and Ampara districts. Several spells of showers will occur in the Northern and North-western provinces while sowers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershow

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in these areas. Several spells of showers may occur in Mannar and Anuradhapura districts.
Strong winds about (40-50) kmph can be expected at times over the Western slopes of the central hills, the Northern and North-central provinces and in Hambantota and Trincomalee districts. Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times over other areas of the island.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
