Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
Mainly fair weather will prevail over the island.
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be (20-30) kmph. Wind speed may increase up to (40-50) kmph at times in the sea areas off the coasts extending from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.

Several spells of showers may occur in Northern, North-central, Eastern provinces and in Matale district. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-western and Uva provinces and in Nuwara-Eliya and Kandy districts during the evening or night.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
