Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
A few showers may occur in Eastern, Uva and Central provinces but fair weather will prevail in the other areas of the island.
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be (20-30) kmph.
The sea areas around the island will be slight.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, Northern and North-central provinces during the morning.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western coastal areas, the Southern province and in Monaragala, Ampara and Batticaloa districts while showers or thundershowers will occur in the other areas of the island during the afternoon or night. Heavy rainfall of above 100 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Southern provinces.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
