Misty conditions can be expected at several places in the island during the morning.

The prevailing dry weather condition in the island is expected to temporarily change on March 10,11. Showers may occur at several places in the island, particularly in the Eastern and Uva provinces.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Galle, Matara, Kaluthara and Rathnapura districts and in the Eastern coastal areas in the evening or night

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western, Southern and North-central provinces during the morning.

Except for a few showers in Rathnapura, Kaluthara and Galle districts in the evening or night, mainly fair weather will prevail over the island.
