E FM celebrates with exciting new shows

I’m sure lots of you would remember the good old days – not too long ago – when radio had quality announcers (or DJs), presenting programmes that generated a lot of listener interest.

Those guys possessed real radio voices and it was a pleasure listening to them.

They were not the stereotype that now dominate the airwaves of some of our radio stations where listeners are give an overdose of ‘Locked on,’ ‘On board the show,’ etc.

One classy radio guy that comes to mind, from the not too distant past, is Brad Stevens, of E FM fame.

Brad was a household name and he knew how to keep listeners glued to their radio sets – not by reading out a long list of requestees, but by his informal, and friendly, patter.

As part of E FM’s 21st anniversary, the station’s weekends have been relaunched as “Mega Weekends,’ with some exciting new shows.

And, the wonderful news is that Brad Stevens, and his wife, Kiara, are a part of this scene – on Sunday mornings, from 7.00 am to 10.00 am.

Says Brad: “The idea and objective of ‘The Brad & Kiara Show’ is to connect Lankans, from all corners of the world, and to spread that positive feeling, as we continue to live the lifestyle theme, on morning radio, on Sri Lankan’s only Lifestyle Station –  E FM 88.3.”

Yes, Brad and Kiara, who drove you home (in the evenings), and pulled you out of bed (in the mornings), over a decade ago, are back, and this time the connection will be direct from Sydney, Australia, where they now reside.

You can now wake up to a refreshed Sunday Morning Show that will feature lifestyles of  Sri Lankans living in Australia, and all around the world…everything that matters to them and YOU.

From sports to entertainment, current affairs to healthy lifestyles – ‘The Brad & Kiara Show’ will feature that GOOD feeling life needs – no matter where you are.

Readers can connect with Brad and Kiara on their global WhatsApp line +61479191883, and on Facebook Bradstevens.radio
