Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western, North-central and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the early
hours of the morning.
There is a possibility of ground frost at some places in Nuwara-Eliya district in the early hours of the morning.
Mainly dry weather will prevail in the most parts of the island.

Showers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces. Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places in Galle, Matara, Kalutara and Rathnapura districts.
Several spells of showers will occur in the North western province and in Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya Districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Uva and Eastern provinces and in Mullaittivu and Polonnaruwa districts after 1.00 p.m.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

The low-level atmospheric disturbance is moving away from Sri Lanka. Therefore, its influence is expected to gradually decrease.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces. Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva, Eastern and North central provinces and in Mullaittivu district after 1.00 p.m.

Under the influence of the system, cloudy skies and showers or thundershowers are expected at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Southern provinces, and in Ampara and Batticaloa districts. Heavy showers above 100 mm are likely at some places.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places. elsewhere of the island after 1.00 p.m.
