Delma Lanka celebrates Calin Baby Soap’s SLS certification and new product launch at gala event

Delma Lanka marked a significant milestone on October 1st with a media event at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo, celebrating the SLS certification of Calin Baby Soap. The occasion, timed to coincide with World Children’s Day, was led by a distinguished panel, including founder Lelwala G Piyanandha, Managing Director Umesh Godakanda, Director Chathurika Jayasekara, Sudaraka Chirantha, National Sales Manager, President’s Counsel Dr. Harsha Cabral, and Senior Counsel Sunil Watagala. Maternal and child health consultant Shyamali Pathirage served as chairperson for the event.

A vibrant gathering of media representatives from television, radio, print, and social media joined commercial partners from the Delma Lanka along with notable artists and other prominent guests, making the event a true celebration of community and achievement.

The evening was a festive one, featuring an array of performances, including dance, music, and comedy, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The event highlighted several key milestones for the Kalin brand: its fifth anniversary, the awarding of SLS certification for Calin Baby Soap, the introduction of ten new baby soap products, and the second anniversary of Kalin being recognized as Sri Lanka’s best-selling fragrant soap brand.

Attendees were excited to witness the unveiling of a new line of Calin Baby Soaps, featuring ten unique animal designs, including charming shapes such as Milky, Creamy, and Olive. These products, certified with SLS standards and including fragrances approved by the International Fragrance Association, underscore the brand’s commitment to safety and quality for infants and young children.
