Death of Dharmasena Atapattu
Dharmasena Atapattu, a founding staff member and current Transport Manager of the Upali Group of Companies, passed away on Friday (13) morning. He was 90-years old.
He was the beloved father to two children and was married to the sister of the renowned gem businessman, Ratnaloka.
Atapattu dedicated many years of loyal service to the Upali Group, working closely with Upali Wijewardene and earning a reputation as one of the most trusted employees in the organization.
Known for his warm and affectionate personality, he was not only a respected figure within the company but also a cherished member of the Upali Group family, where he won the hearts of his colleagues.
Final rites were held on Saturday (14) afternoon at the Borella Public Cemetery.
