Colombo Covid case count has crossed 13,000
The number of COVID-19 cases detected in Colombo crossed 13,000 by Thursday night with 304 new cases being reported.
Out of 304 infections, 254 were detected in Borella. About 11 cases were reported from Mattakkuliya.
A total of 2,862 prison inmates too have contracted COVID-19 by Thursday night with 89 new cases reported on Thursday from jails.
Police spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana said 95,000 people were self-quarantining in the country.
